Good Samaritan Baptist Church Waco
The Rev. Larrye D. Weaver has been pastor of Good Samaritan
Missionary Baptist Church since February of 2001. He continues the
legacy started by his father, founding Pastor Napoleon B. Weaver,
who served the Good Samaritan congregation from 1947 to 2001.  
Pastor Weaver is busy in the community and in many religious
endeavors. He serves as Vice Moderator of the Waco Baptist
Association, First Vice President of the Union Baptist District
Association, President of the Baptist Ministers' Union, Board
Member of the African American Chamber Of Commerce, and Time
Keeper for the Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas. In
addition to serving his church and community, Rev. Weaver is a
business owner and former firefighter for the City of Waco. He
served as a member of the Waco Firefighters' Association from
1974 to 1991. The Waco High School graduate is the proud father
of five children and three grandchildren.
